33 weeks - Had my biweekly ultrasound growth scan 3 days ago. Weights were 4lbs 11 oz and 4lbs and 9 oz and each twin has about 5.5cm of fluid. They were head down and growing about 1 oz per day. My ob also told me I am measuring 44 weeks! No wonder I feel so big:)
Every day that passes is exciting. Feeling good. Walking and now starting stairstepping 50-60 min moderate. On the weekends, all 3 or should I say all 5 of us hike about 3 hrs in the mountains. We then eat pizza and watch a movie.
More and more Braxton Hicks contractions which are becoming intense. If I get slightly dehydrated, the Braxton Hicks contractions occur about every 15 min. At night I need to drink lots of water which is a double edge sword. If I do drink a large amount of water, I have to pee every 1-2 hrs but if I don't drink a lot of water I will get BH contractions every 15-20 min or so. I prefer having to use the bathroom over those constant BH contractions anyday!
I asked Eon what he wanted to be for a Halloween. I told him he could be anything he wanted. I suggested a bee, fire truck, pumpkin, ghost and he said no they are all too scary. I then suggested lady bug and he said with such enthusiasm "Yes! I want to be a lady bug!" I will be 36 weeks the week of Halloween. I hope I get to go trick or treating with my little bug Eon and the two little ones in my 44 week pumpkin belly.
Thanks for all your kind comments
Cheers
Nicole

love to read all these great news, and see you are in such good spirits! And you look great, all tiny except for your 44 week belly! I hope the twins will decide to stay warm inside until at least the day after Halloween, so that Eon gets to spend the day with you!
All the best,
Mapp
So do they think you'll deliver early or on time or what is on time for twins? Holy smokes you've got two 4+ pound babies in there! Is it getting easier, does it do that with twins or are you getting used to it, or do people even do that! I've only had one baby at a time and I'm 5'8" so it was no biggie. But geez I can't imagine twins! What does Eon think of them?
37 weeks is full term for twins but I have read that 50% of mamas deliver 35 weeks and under. I am thinking I will be a 36 or 37 weeker.
It is getting easier. The large amt of amniotic fluid was the hardest part of being pregnant and stopped my running. Now that the fluid has decreased, I am much less short of breath and can eat large portions again.
Eon is super duper excited. He talks about them happily everyday.
